Alfonso passed away at his home in Windsor, Ca. on March 22, 2026. He is survived by his wife, Vera; his four children, Alfonso Roman Jr. (Tamra), Maricelia Roman (Ruben Huerta), and Olita Naredo; his thirteen grandchildren, Ruben, Alfonso III (Michelle), Alexis Huerta, Darrian (Malea), Aleecia, Jalen (Ana), Kobe (Madison), Alexia Naredo, Aliana (Garrett), Carlitos, Gabriel, Daniela and Noei: his five great grandchildren, Levi, Lexi, Kobe Jr., Novalie and Vivian; his sibling Imelda: his brother and sisters in-law, Fred & Donna, Jamie & Audrey, Shelly, Lupe, Karla and Sal; His niece Luisa (Carlos & children) and numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews.He is predeceased by his son Carlos; sibling Micaela; brother and sister in-laws, Mondo, Javier, Tony, and Neet.Alfonso, known as “Grandpa Dad”, loved spending time with his grandchildren, especially outside sharing his knowledge of working on vehicles and doing yardwork.
