Susan Sharon Biggs Simon, born August 2, 1938, in Oakland, California, passed away peacefully at her home in Santa Rosa on March 19, 2026, at the age of 87.Susan grew up in Sonoma County and attended Dunbar Elementary School, Sonoma Valley High School, and later the University of California, Berkeley. She cherished her childhood in Glen Ellen, especially playing with her rabbits and pigs and hosting sleepovers with friends on her front porch.She spent most of her life in Sonoma County where she formed lasting friendships and deep ties to her community. Susan returned to Dunbar Elementary as a teacher, finding joy in giving back to the school she once attended.More than anything, Susan loved her family.
