CHICOPEE John C. Spinks passed away peacefully on August 17th 2026 at home surrounded by his loving family. John was born on September 28 1945 to the late Charles W. and Florence McBride Spinks. He was a 1964 graduate of Chicopee High School. After graduating John worked various part time jobs including full time at Pratt Whitney until 1965. He then enlisted in the United States Navy where he proudly served for four years. After his service he returned to Pratt Whitney working in the Power Cells Division for 48 years. John enjoyed woodturning and woodcarving often surprising his family with a special carving each Christmas. He was a devoted husband dad and papa who cherished spending time with his family. He was also a true lover of animals and adored all of his pets. John leaves behind his devoted wife Annie Brown Schreffler Spinks with 47 years of special…
