Mary Lou was born on February 13, 1935, in Pontiac, to John and Neva (Britton) Kennedy.Mary Lou graduated from Lake Orion High School. She worked in administrative roles for various companies during her career and served for many years as a secretary at Red Carpet Keim Real Estate. She lived her life rooted in God’s love, and she found great joy and comfort in reading her Bible.She enjoyed non-fiction reading, gardening, taking daily walks, writing letters, and listening to music, especially classical music and symphonies. She found beauty in God’s creation and delight in the simple gifts of life. Ila Jane Gleason, 100, of Lapeer, Michigan passed away May 16, 2026 at LaVigne Home For Compassionate Care, in Burton. Ila was born in Davison Township, following her twin sister sister Ella into this world on March 9, 1926 to parents Silas and Geneva (Leaturno) Miller.After graduating from Davison High School in 1944, Ila worked ten years at the AC factory in Flint, then became involved helping with the steady work on the family dairy farm. Carolyn Ann Clark, 79, of Oxford for 51 years, died Saturday May 16, 2026. She was born December 27, 1946 in Detroit to parents Ernest and Margaret (Goldbeck) Clark.Ms. Clark was a wonderful mom; then worked on the line for auto parts manufacturing, later as a secretary and some as a realtor. She loved her animals, bird watching and her flower gardening. Carolyn delighted for her cabin time in Caseville, and occasionally being found enjoying a brisket or walleye dinner. She was born February 7, 1950 in Pontiac to parents Max and Wilma (Kennedy) Bishop.Ms. Harris worked in patient care for twenty plus years, at the Oakdale State Home, until it’s closing. Leona graduated high school, went on to college to pursue nursing, and married the love of her life, Donald Howell, December 19, 1960 in Minot, North Dakota.Mrs. Howell enjoyed traveling with her husband, they were known for fifth wheeling to multiple areas, with some scenic hiking along the way.
