Donna Jean Schiller-Tomecek, age 92, of Tecumseh, MI, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at the Hospice of Lenawee Home in Adrian. She was born on November 21, 1933 the daughter of Harry J. and Carrie A. (Stuart) Spencer in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. On May 9, 1959, Donna married her first husband, Robert G. Schiller and he preceded her in death on December 3, 1978. She married her second husband, Jerry T. Tomecek, on August 31, 1996 and he preceded her in death on November 7, 2013.Donna was a very active member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Tecumseh, MI where she taught Sunday school and served as an acolyte. She loved meeting her friends before work at the Big Boy restaurant and that continued even after retirement and she was part of the “breakfast club” for over thirty years.Donna is survived by her…

Jean was born in Mishawaka, Indiana on December 27, 1964. A loving mother to her ten children and nine grandchildren, Jean’s pride and joy was her family. She dedicated her life to her family as a homeschool teacher, serving on the boards of multiple homeschool organizations. She was an integral part of the family farm and especially loved harvest time. She had an incredible work ethic that she passed to her children, waking them early (whether they liked or not) to pick sweet corn in the summer and organizing an annual pumpkin stand that continues today.Jean was an avid runner, running over twenty marathons across many states. MARY FLORENCE KEEFER, age 86 years of Fayette, Ohio, formerly of Enterprise, Alabama passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home, Archbold. She was born on February 24, 1940, in Enterprise, the daughter of Otto Paul and Mildred King.Florence graduated from Enterprise High School in 1958. She married E. Donald Keefer on January 17, 1959, in Enterprise. He preceded her in death on March 5, 2007. Florence was a devoted wife, loving mother and the glue that kept things running smoothly on the family farm. She loved cooking, keeping house and watching her soaps and gameshows on tv.Florence is survived by four children, Deborah Keefer, Anthony Keefer, Dennis (Ellen) Keefer and Denise (Mick) Nofziger; nine grandchildren, including Drew Keefer, with whom she had a special bond; two great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
