On the afternoon of August 31st 2026, Marie Alexandria Hangsleben (Loeb) was in a tragic car crash while heading to Rochester, MN for a day of shopping with her friend. Marie spent two intense weeks surrounded by family in the ICU at the Mayo Clinic Hospital but on September 14th 2026, Marie passed away joining her parents Ralph and Emerita Loeb and her sister Ellen Titus.Marie was born and raised in Bismarck, North Dakota where she attended St. Mary’s High School. Marie was the eldest sister of 7 girls Linda Kunick, Cheryl Levander, Ellen Titus, Lila Twogood, Sheila Rogstad, Claudia Lorenz, and her adopted brother Ardalan Hardi. In the late 1970’s she married Gordy Hangsleben and had four children: Rachelle, Nicki, Nathan and Ben.
