Anthony Mariano Conte passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 1 2026 at his Parsippany NJ home following an extended illness. He was 87. Tony met the love of his life the former Lucy P. Salierno in 1962. They were married on August 17 1963 beginning a wonderful 63year marriage. Tony and Lucy began their family life in Totowa NJ then Ramsey NJ a period in Eastern Connecticut and then Morris Township NJ before settling in Parsippany NJ in 1977. Tony served in the United States Army from 1957 to 1960. Stationed in Texas he was part of the U.S. Armys Air Defense Artillery unit. These teams manned some of Americas first operational surfacetoair guided missiles. After beginning his career in industrial equipment sales in 1969 Tony earned his B.S in Business Administration from Seton Hall University.
