Rose Bean 79 a longtime resident of Dover Plains NY passed away on Wednesday August 19 2026 at Sharon Health Care Center in Sharon CT. Mrs. Bean was a laundry assistant at the Wassaic Developmental Center in Wassaic NY for 30 years. Born on October 30 1946 in Sharon CT she was the daughter of the late George and Captolia Murphy Vincent. Mrs. Bean attended Dover High School. Her husband James L. Bean predeceased her on July 10 2014. Mrs. Bean is survived by a son James L. Bean Jr. and his wife Laura of Dover Plains and a sister Patsy Wilcox of Dover Plains. She is also survived by two granddaughters Kathryn Richard and Rebecca Gille a greatgrandson Levi Richard and many nieces and nephews.
