James is survived by his three sons James Lori Matthew Jess and Daniel Dayle Grant all of Norwood his two stepchildren Melissa and Nathan Carr two brothers Kevin Grant Robyn Potsdam and Scott Grant Massena and a sister Vikie and Scott Jones Plattsburgh. Jim was predeceased by his parents Alexander and Sue his wife Cindy and a brother Craig Grant. Born in Potsdam NY on January 20 1957 to the late Alexander and Sue A. Kennedy Grant James graduated from Potsdam Central School Class of 1976. Barbara was born on August 1 1963 daughter of Frances Margittay and Robert Bernard. She is survived by her life partner Tom Carter Pompano Beach FL her son Brandon McGregor Jean Lyng and her grandsons Hayden and Jackson McGregor Mason and Nora Lyng all of Massena her siblings Brian Bernard Weedsport NY John Ann Margittay Jr. Norwood Emily Enslow Norwood and Betsy Robert Myers Norwood as well as several nieces nephews and extended family members.
