Ronald Elliott Cyphers 87 of Troy passed away at 622 a.m. Wednesday May 13 2026 at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy. He was born December 24 1938 in Ridgeville Indiana to the late Kathlyn Elliott Cyphers. He married Rosaleen Toye Cyphers June 20 1964 in Piqua at St. Mary Catholic Church and she preceded him in death February 17 1996. Other survivors include daughter Kerri Kevin OReilly two grandchildren Martin Patrick OReilly Kyle Patrick OReilly two greatgrandchildren Cheyenne Elizabeth OReilly Christopher Patrick OReilly sister Sharon Sherry Howard Hedrick of Streator Illinois. Ronald retired from AmeTek Lamb Electric Group in 2003 working as an industrial engineer. He was a 1957 graduate of Piqua Central High School. Ronald furthered his education by obtaining a Master degree from the University of Dayton in 1976. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1960 to 1963 in the intelligence department. Billie "Jo" Simmons 55 of Piqua passed away at 1209 p.m. Friday May 15 2026 at Ohios Hospice of Dayton. She was born October 9 1970 in Evansville Indiana to Sandra Staats Nedrebo and the late Edwin Collins. She married Paul Simmons May 8 2020 in Piqua and he survives. Jo is also survived by three children Kendra Martin Lunsford of New London Iowa Jerry "J.R." Schaefer of New London Iowa and Ethan Hendrickson of Iowa City Iowa two brothers Wes Chris Collins and Rob Collins one sister Penny Jim Mehaffy also numerous nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister Belinda Hyndman. Jo had previously worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant and was a faithful member of Stonebridge Community Church. Martha L. Higgins age 93 of Tipp City passed away Tuesday May 12 2026 at her home. Martha was born in Minster OH on April 4 1933 to the late Clarence Josephine Didier Huelskamp was a graduate of Bradford High School Class of 1951 retired with 20 years of service at A.O. Smith previously worked at Ebbert Seeds in Covington and A.O. Smith Credit Union. Martha was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Bradford she was an avid golfer and enjoyed working in her yard.
