Born on August 17 1938 to Joseph and Julia Rend ne Lichvarcik Frank lived a full and meaningful life rooted in family hard work and cherished pastimes. Frank proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1958 to 1963 as a damage controlman aboard the USS Caloosahatchee. His time in the Navy instilled in him a strong sense of duty and resilience that carried through every aspect of his life. After his military service Frank embarked on a long and dedicated career with BOChessie Systems railroad. For over three decades he worked as a conductor and brakeman ensuring the safe passage of countless trains. His commitment to his work reflected his steadfast character and determination. Theodore Ted Courson age 89 of Sabula Lake Road DuBois PA died on Tuesday March 31 2026 at his residence. Born on March 12 1937 in Beechwoods Jefferson County he was the son of the late William and Blanche Groves Courson. Ted was married to Sahlee J. Bowser and she preceded him in death on May 17 2012. Ted had been employed at several drilling companies as a Derrick Man and retired from Fairman Drilling after 48 years in the industry. Ted enjoyed the simple things in life and his greatest enjoyment came from just tinkering around his home hooting and a hollering. Born on May 21 1935 in Lowville NY he was the son of the late Leonard and Eleanor Edick Reed. On June 11 1960 he was married to Mary Adams and she survives. Retired Jim had been employed in the Paper Industry starting at St. Regis in Watertown NY then at GeorgiaPacific in Lyons Falls NY and finally at Penn Tech Papers in Johnsonburg PA. Hazel Lee Cornett Wingard age 95 of Williamsburg Va. passed away peacefully with her granddaughter by her side at her home on the 12th of March 2026. Born on October 13th 1930 in Watauga County North Carolina she was the daughter of Raymond and Martha James Cornett. After graduating from Nursing school in Norfolk Va Hazel was commissioned in the United States Air Force. After serving out her commission she continued as a registered nurse at several different hospitals until retirement in the early 90s always serving where needed but had a sentiment for pediatrics. Throughout her long life Hazel was an enthusiastic reader who loved the library so much so that after retirement she volunteered at the Clarion library Clarion Pa..
