Prior to retirement Donna worked for Eat N Park in New Stanton for many years. Donna was a graduate of Youngwood High School where she was head majorette. She was a member of Harrold Zion Lutheran Church in Greensburg a member of Order of the Eastern Star the Youngwood Womens Club and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and at Hempfield Manor. Born on March 26, 1936, He was the son of the late John and Helen (Wood) Chikar.After graduating from Apollo Area High School, John attended Carnegie Tech. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and he worked as a lab technician at PPG. He found deep pleasure in the outdoors and enjoyed camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. He spent many hours reading old westerns, watching college football and playing computer flight simulators. He enjoyed building radios and a television in his younger years and often researched to expand his knowledge on topics that interested him throughout his life.
