Alyce Carrol Liber 79 of McCandless Township formerly of "West View" passed away peacefully on March 30 2026 at Ridgecrest of McCandless. She was born February 28 1947 in Columbia Hospital in Wilkinsburg. She was raised in Monroeville Pennsylvania daughter of the late Frank A. and Bertha Mae Householder Witter. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Eric S. Liber and a sister Nancy Sloan. Alycewas an excellent seamstress. Her sewing abilities included making her own wedding dress her husbands suit and all of her drapes and she was an exceptional cook. Her academic achievements include an Associates degree in Accounting and a B.S. in interior design from LaRoche where she graduated Summa cum laude. She was a graduate of Derry Borough High School class of 1950 and while in school worked at the Gem Theater in Derry having fond memories of selling popcorn. After school she worked at the former Stupakoff Ceramics Latrobe where she met her husband. Marian was an avid reader gardener wonderful cook and fabulous baker who loved to share her recipes and expertise with others.
