John Raymond Ray DeSanty Jr. 92 of Jeannette passed away peacefully Wednesday April 1 2026 in his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born January 17 1934 in Jeannette a son of the late John Raymond DeSanty and Blanche Williams DeSanty. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Martin Tire. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War proudly serving his country and was a member Jeannette American Legion Post 344 for 51 years. He was an avid Steelers and Pirates fan even attending a Pirates game at 90 years old. In the summer he often attended various local outdoor concerts with his late wife Phyllis and in recent years he really enjoyed listening to live music at Jeannette food truck Thursday. Betty E. (Hellein) O’Bradovich, 101, formerly of Bell Township, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 in Kane Community Living Center- Scott Township.Born February 13, 1925 in Belle Vernon, she was a daughter of the late John Russell Hellein & Estella C. (Budd) Hellein.Betty worked for US Steel-Irvin Works for 15 years in the sorting room. She then worked as a beautician in Rostraver Township for eight years. Betty fell in love with helping children with special needs, as she was employed for the Westmoreland County Intermediate Unit for 26 years, retiring in 1986.Her memberships include the former Webster Methodist Church in Rostraver and the Donora Eastern Star.Betty enjoyed modeling when she was younger and making many QVC purchases.In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Rich O’Bradovich, who passed away on February 21, 2009; brothers, Lloyd, Howard, and George Hellein; and her sisters, Mildred…

Clarence Bruce Stone Sr. of Hunker passed away on April 2 2026 at the age of 90 being the oldest living member of his family. He was born January 9 1936 in Taylor County W.Va. Just north of Grafton to Willis Arthur stone sr. And Angie Oletha Paugh Stone in a log farmhouse during one of the coldest winters on record the 2ND of 6 children. He grew up in the cheat neck area of Morgantown. Clarence served in the U.S. Army at fort Bragg N.C. With the 82ND Airborne as an infantryman paratrooper from March 15 1954 until March 14 1957. Clarence was a truck driver for BP Motor Express as well as a few other companies over the years and at one time was part owner of Allegheny Bedford express.
