Rita Mae Robinson age 76 passed away on Monday March 30 2026 at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls South Dakota following a lengthy battle with cancer. Rita was a beloved wife mother grandmother sister and friend who touched the lives of many. Rita was born on August 31 1949 to Joseph and Rose Muslin Kafka in Luverne Minnesota. She had a difficult childhood as her mother died of cancer when she was just seven years old. Then Rita contracted polio shortly after which led to surgeries neck and back braces and time spent in the iron lung. Rita was in local newspapers for being in the iron lung. Noel Olson 92 of Sioux Falls South Dakota passed away peacefully at Sanford USD Medical Center on March 29 2026. Noel was born in July 1933 in Chicago Illinois to Chris and Pearl Lassen Lassen. Shegraduated from Taft High School in Chicago and went on to earn her degree in education from Michigan State University in 1955. She was united in marriage to Bob Goodbary in 1956 and together they had two sons David and Richard. The couple later divorced in 1966. Noel dedicated 25 years of her life to teaching elementary school in Michigan and California. William Bill James Bennett was born April 6 1949 in Ponca Neb. to James E. and Eva Faye Olander Bennett. He died at Avas House in Sioux Falls S.D. on March 19 2026 12 weeks after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer he was 76. Bill was a son husband father brother uncle and cousin. For the first four years of his life he lived on the family farm in the Newcastle Neb. area. The family moved to the westside of Sioux City Iowa eventually settling in the Leeds area where he spent his formative years. Bill attended St. Boniface and St. Michaels Leeds grade schools. In fourth grade he contracted polio and was homeschooled. Bill graduated from Heelan High School in 1967.
