Barbara Ann "Bobbie" Dalton, age 82, went to her heavenly home on Monday, August 17, 2026, while surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was saved as a young woman at Fairview Missionary Baptist Church in Lee Valley, where she was a faithful member and steadfast, godly example to all. Sharing her testimony was her greatest joy. She served as a deacon's wife, Sunday school teacher and was a janitor for 50 years. She worked for the Hawkins County School system in food services for many years, happily serving children at both St. Clair Elementary School and Cherokee High School. Cooking was her passion, she always made sure anyone who came to visit her home never left hungry. She was especially well known for her homemade rolls and chocolate chip cookies.
