Peggy Marie Bryan 94 of League City Texas passed away peacefully on Sunday February 8 2026 surrounded by family. She was born on March 18 1931 in Nashville Tennessee to parents Maxie Elva and Carl Marks Graham. Peggy was a celebrated watercolor artist and a member of the American Watercolor Society as well as a loving wife mother grandmother and greatgrandmother. She was preceded in death by her sister Mildred Graham and reunited with her beloved husband Dr. George T. Bryan. Peggy is survived by her children Ralph Bryan and Janice Longoria her grandchildren Adam Longoria Alyssa Adame Kate Longoria Mason Bryan and Graham Bryan and her great grandchildren Leo Longoria Luke Adame Layne Adame Jackson Longoria and Anna Longoria with one more on the way. In lieu of flowers the family invites donations to the George T. Bryan Scholars Endowment Fund at UTMB Galveston through the Office of Development…

Joann was a hardworking caring and loving mother whose warmth and way of connecting with others brought joy to everyone she met. Her kindness strength and devotion to her family will always be remembered. She will be deeply missed by her surviving son John C. McAndrews her daughterinlaw Anabeth A. McAndrews and her cherished grandson Freddy M. Carrillo. Joann is also survived by her brothers Mike Ortega Randy Ortega and Tiodoro Ortega Jr. her sisters Janie Ortega twins Gloria and Floria Ortega and Lisa Lopez along with many other beloved family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Tiodoro and Maria Ortega her brothers Eddie and Edward Ortega and her sisters Ramona and Mary Ortega. Visitation will be Friday February 20 2026 from 57pm with a Memorial Service at 700 p.m. at Canon Funeral Home.
