She loved the Lord with all her heart and shared Him with everyone she met. Susie left this earth for her heavenly home Monday night, August 17, 2026, at the age of 86.Susie was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and for many years was the cook for their daycare. There she was affectionately known to all the children as “Mawmaw”. She enjoyed quilting, puzzles, gardening, and was an avid sports enthusiast whose greatest joy was watching her kids, grandkids and great grandkids in their various sporting activities.Susie was born February 15, 1940, to Eugene and Alice Stevens in San Antonio, Texas.
