Sandra Hale WalshNardone 89 fell asleep in death on March 26 2026 at home surrounded by her loving family. Sandra grew up in Arlington Massachusetts where she graduated and began building her family. After marrying she made her home in Wilmington Massachusetts where she spent 60 years raising her family and creating lasting memories before later moving to Vermont. Sandra is survived by younger brother John Hale of Arlington Massachusettsher three children Scott and his wife Brenda Deborah of Cambridge Vermont and Jessica of Swanzey New Hampshire. Joan worked as a Nurses Aid at both Birchwood Healthcare Terrace and Starr Farm Eldercare. She loved spending time with her children and especially with her grandchildren and greatgranddaughter. Ruth Elsbeth Flemming Stewart age 90 of Burlington VT went home to be with her Lord and Savior March 20 2026. She was born in Rothenen East Prussia Germany on November 6 1935 to Otto and Maria Helmdorf Flemming. In 1951 when Ruth was 16 the family immigrated to the United States from what was then West Germany. Settling in East Nassau NY the family of ten became U.S. citizens. Ruth married Charles Vernon Stewart of Troy NY on October 27 1956 and moved to Burlington the same year. Together they raised a family of two girls and two boys. At the age of 43 Ruth pursued a nursing degree from Fanny Allen School of Nursing. Working as an LPN and then an RN Ruth was employed by Fletcher Allen Hospital till her retirement.
