RUTLAND-Howard Parker 1935 -2026 (90) lovingly known as Howie, Dad, Papa, and Papa 2, Great Papa peacefully passed away on the evening of April 1,2026. He was a man of many talents, The best mechanic, Teacher of the trade. And the best walleye fisherman on Lake Champlain, He loved what he did in his profession and his personal life. If you got a pat on the head with a "Hi Pal" You were pretty special to him.He was hired by Laydens Service Station on 102 West St. when he was 17 years old. Then it was there where he met Claudette Quesnel the love of his life . They married in August of 1956. Eventually they acquired the life from Peewee Layden in the early70s Then it became Parkers Texaco Service Station which they ran until the early 90s. Bonnie L. Partridge CASTLETON — Born in Bangor, Maine on February 26, 1961 and passed away on March 21, 2026 in Castleton, Vermont. She is survived by her mother Edith, her twin brother Marine Staff Sergeant Richard (Rick) A. Partridge, Jr., sister in-law Margarita (Maggie) Partridge, and nephew Michael Partridge. She grew up in Detroit, Maine and graduated in 1979 from Maine Central Institute (MCI) in Pittsfield, Maine. Bonnie went to Castleton State College in Castleton, Vermont where she studied Physical Education and later changed to Nursing. In the summers she was a lifeguard at Elfin Lake in Wallingford. Bonnie liked to play softball and golf. She liked Nascar, her cats, and the Dallas Cowboys. Her favorite drive was Rusty Wallace. Bonnie also liked penguins and her favorite show was I Love Lucy.
