He was born June 5, 1937 in Charlottesville, VA and was part of the first class ever to attend the newly built Albemarle High School. He lived in the Stony Point/Barboursville area most of his life.He married Betty Lou Dorsey from West Virginia in 1955, and was happily married for 55 years. Curtis and Betty had two children, Ricky and Blain. He was an auto-glass technician for 45 years and installed glass in vehicles from antiques to Lambourghinis. He was considered to be the best in the field. He loved hunting, fishing, and his daily talks with his two best friends, Gwen and Russell.
