CROSS Peggy Oatman 75 went to be with the Lord and Savior she loved served and knew so well on October 8 2026. She is survived by her husband of 53 years Charles Felix Cross III whom she first met in second grade at Washington Henry Elementary School in Mechanicsville Virginia and who quickly became and remained her best friend throughout her life by her son Toler F. Cross and his wife Kristin her daughter Emma C. Moyer and her husband Justin by her sisters Aimee O. West the late Tommy and Terry O. Redd John by seven grandchildren Charlie Anna Ryan and Avery Cross and Gentry Sutton and Beckham Moyer and by a host of other beloved family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Orlin L. Pat and Mildred C. Oatman and by her sister Bettie Lewis Oatman. As Mom she offered a listening…
