His is such a great American story born on a farm in Ruffin NC in a log cabin without running water he learned the meaning of hard work from a very young age. He married the love of his life Carrie Hale in 1957 and spent the next seven decades building a life and family together. If you knew one you knew the other. They were inseparable from the start. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years Lois Rock Taylor sons Stephen Taylor Jennifer and Michael Taylor grandchildren Ian Taylor and Joshua Taylor brother Gary Taylor brothersinlaw Glenwood OBanion Peggy Danny Rock Beverly Jerry Burchett former daughterinlaw Suzanne and numerous nieces and nephews. Ronald retired after 30 years with Philip Morris where he spent a significant portion of his time working internationally.
