Carl was an owner of Technical Products Inc. and was a U.S. Navy veteran who served during the Korean conflict. After his military service Carl attended Thiel College in Greenville PA where he graduated with a degree in Economics. He married his college sweetheart Janice Brininger and they moved to Pennsauken NJ. where he began his career with duPont de Nemours representing their products in one of their divisions.
