Tonya Renae Vick, 65 of Portsmouth, passed away peacefully at home on March 30, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Wichita, Kansas on January 28, 1961, to the late James Clegg Kanash Sr. and Joan Marie Kanash.Tonya’s early years were spent roller skating and hanging out with her many friends at the Plaza Roller Rink in Portsmouth, where she met and married the love of her life, Timothy (Tim) Vick. Tonya spent many years working as a dedicated food and beverage manager at various food establishments, including AMF and Pinboy’s Bowling Centers, and Bojangles, where her nephews affectionately called her Aunt BoBo, which they still use today. Tonya and her husband, Tim, were avid league bowlers for many years, and often traveled to participate in tournaments.
