Lovell Gale Blankenship, 74 of Huntington, WV, formerly of Wayne died Monday, February 16, 2026 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Price-Mills Cemetery, Wayne, WV. He was born January 13, 1952 in Wayne, WV, a son of the late Albert and Jewell Bradshaw Blankenship. Lovell was a retired carpenter and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran having served in Vietnam. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #93 and the Disabled American Veterans Huntington Chapter #2. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Judith Carol Williamson and a very special friend, Frank Underwood. MICHAEL PATRICK CURRY 74 of East Lynn W.Va. passed away Saturday February 14 2026 at home. He was born June 27 1951 in Huntington W.Va. and honorably served in the U.S. Army. Preceding him in death was his mother Ima Jean Curry one brother Christopher Curry his first wife Freda Curry and his second wife Juanita Curry. Survivors include his stepson Charles Sowards his stepdaughter Linda Smith both of East Lynn and his grandson Kevin Adkins of Genoa W.Va. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday February 18 2026 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Garland Perry officiating and military honors performed by the American Legion Post 93. Visitation will begin at noon.
