Greta Breiby, 86, of Cornell, passed away peacefully on April 1st in the comfort of her daughter’s home in Bloomer, surrounded by those she loved.She was born on June 30, 1939, to Norbert and Gladys Bollenbach. Greta carried a quiet strength and warmth that touched everyone she knew. She spent her life in Wisconsin, living in Madison, Holcombe, and Cornell, places that became home not only to her, but to the many memories she created with family and friends.Greta graduated from Madison East High School. On October 19, 1957, she married Donald Breiby in Madison, Wisconsin. Though they later went their separate ways, that chapter of her life helped shape the family she loved so deeply.
