Corazon Lacap Bautista, lovingly known to her family as Ama, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, in Manila, Philippines. A devoted mother, grandmother, and the heart of a large and loving family, she lived a life defined by faith, generosity, and the joy of gathering loved ones.She was born on June 1, 1934, in San Nicolas, Masantol, Pampanga, Philippines, to Roman Yabut Lacap and Victoria Lugtu Alfonso. She was the third of six children, preceded in death by her siblings Marcelina, Lourdes, and Jose, and is survived by her siblings Roman and Nicholas.She spent her early years in Pampanga, where she attended Batasan Elementary School in Macabebe and later Central Elementary School in Masantol, before continuing to San Miguel Academy for high school. Michael “Mike” Vines, age 72, passed away on February 21, 2026. Born on June 14, 1953, in the San Francisco Bay Area, Mike was raised in Potrero Hill.Mike was employed with Stauffer Chemical for some time before the company closed its doors. He then moved on to be a deckhand on the Lovely Martha in San Francisco Fisherman’s Wharf for 15 years. He returned to a land job and worked for Brinks for a number of years. Later on, he retired after many years of service as a groundskeeper at Foothill College, in Los Altos.A loyal Bay Area sports fan, Mike was especially passionate about the San Francisco 49ers, with the San Francisco Giants a close second.
