( Josephine ) Phyllis Nicholson passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026. She was born in San Francisco on May 2, 1938, to Joseph and Josephine Torres.Phyllis was a devoted mother to her daughters, Shelly Nicholson and Darla Nicholson (Phill Krenn); and a loving grandmother to Caitlyn Gomes, Camila Krenn, and Sabrina Krenn.She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred Nicholson, who passed away in 1980. Phyllis later shared 35 happy years with her beloved life partner, Joseph Pollio.A proud graduate of Balboa High School, Phyllis worked for 30 years at Castle Lanes Bowling Alley before retiring to care for her grandchildren. In 1972, she made her home in Pacifica, where she built a life filled with family and community.Phyllis will be forever remembered as “Favorite Auntie Phyllis” by the many children of her cherished sisters and brothers, a title she held with warmth and joy.She will be laid…
