It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of a beloved husband a wonderful father and "Poppy" as well as a devoted friend to many. Mr. Joseph J. Ruscavage Sr. 86 formerly of Swoyersville passed peacefully into eternal life in the comfort and familiarity of his residence with his family at his bedside. Mr. Ruscavage was called home by Almighty God Tuesday morning of Holy Week following a lingering and wellfought illness he endured for some time. Born on Friday December 15 1939 in Plymouth he was the son of the late Joseph and Josephine M. Klimchalk Ruscavage. Educated in the Catholic faith he attended parochial school and later became a graduate of the former Plymouth High School Class of 1957. Nicholas P. Sanguedolce passed peacefully at home on March 31st, 2026, surrounded byloving family.Nick was born in Pittston on July 28th, 1932, to Leonard & Mary (Vella) Sanguedolce.He was a life-long resident of Pittston and graduated from Pittston High School in1950 where he had a very successful football career and was even offered several fullscholarships to college.After high school, he chose to raise his family and acted as a surrogate father to his youngersiblings. He was employed by Pittston Apparel, United States Postal Service, andeventually retired from Plainwell Tissue. During his childhood, he served as analtar boy at St. Rocco's Church in Pittston. Later in life he was an active committee councilmember for 25 years for the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 303. Frank Derby 90 of Wyoming PA was reunited with the love of his life Betty Rinus on March 29 2026. They cherished each other for 47 years. Betty passed away in May of 2024. Frank proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from January 1955 to November 1958 during the Korean Conflict. He attained the rank of Airman First Class and was honorably discharged on November 11 1958. Frank worked as a miner for various local coal companies. He later worked as a driller performing test borings for large structures such as the Cross Valley Expressway and the Berwick Nuclear Power Plant. For many years he was an independent truck driver before becoming a company driver for Watkins Freight Lines. Born in WilkesBare Donald was the son of the late Donald and Sophia Williams Norton Sr. He graduated from E. L. Meyers High School in 1981. Donald also served in the US Army. He was married to the late Debbie Tippins Norton He worked for many years in the food industry at Wilkes University.
